The diagram shows rainwater is collected for the use of drinking water in an Australian town. Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and making comparisons where relevant.
The given diagram illustrates the method of collecting the rainwater for drinking in an Australian town. As can be seen from a diagram, the rainwater is collected before going through a water filter, and after treating with chemicals, it can be used for drinking.
Initially, the rainwater which falls on the rooftop of four houses in an Australian town is gathered by the drain system which joints together in to one pipe. Next, the rainwater is then pumped into a water filter stayed below the houses for treatment before continuing to be passed to a storage tank at the bottom of the system.
In the following stage, thanks to a pipe that connects a storage tank to a water treatment tank, rainwater is treated in this tank by several chemicals released by two machines. From this point, the water is ready for consumption, it travels along pipes that lead back into the houses in an Australian town. Finally, the rainwater can be drunk by laboratories in each house.
