The diagram delineates the hierarchy of the English language. The English language is mainly classified into American and British English branch.

The areas such as Canada and USA certainly come under the American English branch. Canada also comprises of two parts -Angelo phone and Francophone Canada. Likewise, USA has been divided into total six parts. It consists of Philippines, American Samoa, west coast, mid-west, north-east coast and puerto-rico southern.

On the other hand, the British English branch has been classified into 6 further branches. Jamaica and Barbados is for West Indies and
Malay and Chinese for the far east, respectively. In regards with Australasia, this sub-branch manifest Australia and New Zealand. In addition to that, Indian-Pakistan branch consists of all forms of Indian English. Altogether Iris, English, Welsh and Scottish comes under British Isles.
Further, Africa branch divides into west, anglophones and east Africa.

Thus, it can be inferred that, the British English branch has been largely classified as compared to American English branch.
