The presented pie chart compares 4 types of vehicles in terms of the percentage they occupy in people’s total use. The given table indicates 5 distinct reasons for which residents travel by car. Both graphs refer to Edmonton.

Overall, car is the most prevailing means of transported among the surveyed ones. Meanwhile, it is also evident that more than half of people asked report that they use cars for work.

Turning into detail, car accounts for the highest proportion among 4 transportations, with 45%, followed by a 35-percent rate of Light Rail Transit. By contrast, the figure for bus is much lower, which accounts for only 10%. This number is equal to that of taxi, making them the least popular surveyed means of transport.

Regarding to reasons explaining why people choose cars for transportation, commuting to work occupy the biggest percentage of 55%. In addition, a 45-percent proportion makes business rank second, which is slightly higher than that of taking children to school.
