The reasons why people utilized transport in the city of Edmonton is shown using a table and the pie chart illustrates the percentage of the four types of frequently use transport vehicles. As can be seen, majority of the people of Edmonton claimed that commuting to work is the prime reason for using a vehicle and that cars are tye most preferred mode of transport.

In detail, over half of the citizens of Edmonton at 55% said that they used transport in going to and from work. Another two major reasons for the utilization of vehicles are for business purposes and taling children to school at 45% and 40% respectively. Whereas the remaining proportions belong to those residents who admit that they used vehicles mainly for shopping and leisure activities at 15% each.

Meanwhile, the most utilized type of vechicles are cars with almost half of the percentage of the total population of Edmonton at 45%. Other people used LRT or the Light Rail Transport at 35%. Interestingly, a lesser proportion admit that they preferred riding a bus or a taxi than other types of vehicles at 10% each.
