The graphs illustrate how many students in the UK University, the amount of money that the government spent on each learners from 1997 to 2000 as well as the proportion of students from different families’ income background.

In general, it is obvious that in 2000, the number of students in UK university was highest. In addition, the amount of the authority spending on each student experienced an downward trend. It is also evident that the majority of learners who lived in high income families.

As can be seen from the graphs, starting at roughly 1.3 millions in 1997, the number of undergraduates who studied in the UK university was lowest. This figure climbed to hit the highest point of under 2.0 million in 2000, which followed by a minimal drop to roughly 1.7million. Regarding the government budget on each student, there was a considerable fall from 600 to 130 between 1997 and 2000, and then remained stable until 2000.
