The process diagrams illustrate the whole life of the species of salmon [from ‘fry’ to ‘adult salmon’ stage] / [starting from a small fish called 'fry' until 'adult salmon'.].
It's noticeably apparent that salmon fishes have three different [basic] steps from little fishes, namely 'fry' to the adult salmon and requires a range of suitable typical environment [in their life cycle], respectively.
At the first stage in the process, the matured salmon swim back to upper river with slow moving water from the ocean to lay the eggs. The eggs are placed between reeds which are located among [/adjacent to] small stones. After approximately 5-6 months, 'fry' will crack from the eggs with the average length of 3-8 cm and head to a new fish habitat, to be precise, the fast flowing lower river [because of moving ability] and stayed for about 4 years. At the following stage, the fish will swim to a wider and broader water circumstance - open ocean, after they become 'smoh' with around 12-15 cm of body size. Finally, they will spend roughly half a decade before they produce the egg in the upper river.
The process cycle again and again with every generation of their offspring.
