Different kinds of energy in France
The two pie charts compares the percentage of energy generation in France in the timescale of 10 years from 1995 to 2005.
Overall, The percentage of coal and gas production topped the list, compared to other types of energy. The findings of chart also reveals these kinds of energy witnessed an upward trend of production, with exception of petroleum.
Look at the pie chart for more details, we can see the rate of coal produced in 2005 constituted 30.93%, which was 1,13% higher than that in 1995. A similar proportion of increase was seen in gas generation, accounting for 29.63% ( in 1995) to 30.31% (in 2005). Although nuclear and other sources of energy took up much less percentage in the chart, with 6.4% and 4.9%, respectively, it experienced a significant increase in 2005.
The striking feature in these charts was that the share of petro generation plunged over the surveyed period, dropping by roughly 10% from 29.27% in 1995.
