The given pie charts illustrate Australian household energy use for 6 different purposes as well as the greenhouse gas emissions produced from those purposes.

It is apparent that Australian household used most of the energy for heating, at 42% but it produced 15% of the household greenhouse emission. Water heating occupied 30% of the total amount of energy and 32% of the emissions.
Concerning other household appliances, it used 15% of the energy but produced 28% of the gas emissions. The refrigeration cost small amount of energy, at 7% but the emission of that doubled the energy, 14%. Cooling and lighting used less than 5% of energy, therefore, produced less than 10% of emissions.
