The graphs underneath illustrate the energy consumptions by different household work and greenhouse gas released as a consequence of using them in Australia.
Overall, each activity mention except heating emits more greenhouse gas than they consume energy. Cooling representing the lowest share in both segments whereas, heating used maximum power and water heating released the highest greenhouse gas.
Detailing energy usage graph, heating ranked first with power usage of 42%, water heating at second place utilized 30% of total energy. With energy consumption of 15% other appliances stood at third position. Rest other household works energy consumption falls under 10%.
Visualizing greenhouse emission, although heating consumed the highest energy but water heating and other appliances overtook it in terms of greenhouse emission by releasing 32% and 28% of gas while greenhouse emission by heating was less than half (15%) than its energy usage. On the other hand, air contamination by lighting and refrigeration was double their power utilization. Cooling remained at bottom of both graphs with energy usage of 2% and carbon emission of 3%.
