the flow chart shows trampling, the negative effect of tourist walking in the countryside for the environment.
This flow chart demonstrates the effects of grass being flattened under the feet of tourists walking in the area on soil. According to the flow chart when they step on the soil it has direct two negative effects. On one hand it damages vegetation which will cause the plants to become weaker and interfere with their reproduction and growth too. Both of these consequences will reduce vegetation in that area. On the other hand trampling will also compact the soil underneath their feet, This compacted hard now soil has less air and water quality that will also inhibit plant growth and reproduction ,plus it will increase erosion, which means water will run off the land instead of going down in the soil. consequently, vegetation will reduce even more. As we could see on the chart the final result of these changes is erosion and decrease the quality of soil and vegetation.
