The graph and table below give information about water use worldwide and water consumption in two different countries.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
The linear charts and table demonstrate how much water(Km3) has been consumed in each sector in the whole 20th century, as well as the figures comparison for population, irrigated area and water consumption per capita in two particular countries in 2000.
It is clear that all of the data in the Democratic Republic of Congo(DRC) was much lower than that in Brazil. Overall, aggregate water consumption increased throughout the whole period.
In the line chart, compared with the water use in manufactories and household, human consumed the most proportion of the water to irrigate the crops and plants in the initial time in the last century. In detail, the numbers of industrial and domestic water use began to grow clearly in the 1950s and 1960s. In the final year shown on the table, the agriculture water consumption took the lead position(about 3000 Km3), following by industrial use(some around 1000) and domestic use (less than 300Km3)
In the table, Brazilian spent 265 times water than DRC on the irrigation, because there are more people lived in 2000. At the meantime, it is noteworthy that the capita figure for Brazil was several dozens of times than that for DRC.
