The line graph provides information about the percentage of computer ownership in each household during 1997-2011.
Overall, while the percentage of possessing two computers and more than three devices witnessed an upward trend during the period examined, the opposite trend can be seen in the percentage of no computers. Despite the stable fluctuations, the proportion of having one computer remained highest throughout the period given.
The proportion of possessing no computers remained highest at 48% in 1997, then it experienced a sharp decrease in the next 14 years to plunge to approximately 20% at the end of the period. Meanwhile, the percentage of owing two computers saw an opposite trend throughout the whole period, with a rise from 5 per cent to peak at about 28 per cent in the final year of the period.
Although the percentage of more than three computers saw a subtle increase from 0 per cent to peak at about 10 per cent in 2011, it remained the least favourable. On the contrary, the percentage of possessing one computer fluctuated at 45 per cent and remained the most preferable in the fourteenth-year period.
