The provided graph illustrates information about the comparison of average carbon dioxide (co2) emitted per person in the united kingdom, Sweden, Italy, and Portugal over a forty-year between 1967 and 2007.

Overall, it is seen that the amount of emission in the united kingdom and Sweden decreased slightly while the figures in Italy and Portugal increased gradually each per decade from 1967 to 2007.

According to the data, the united kingdom had the most number in 1967, with almost 11 tonnes while emissions rate starts to decrease steadily in about 9 tonnes after 40 years. Also, Sweden which had the second highest number in 1967, with nearly 9 tonnes and this figure rose significantly to 10 tonnes in a decade. However, after that year, emission rates declined by 5 tonnes from 10 to 5 tonnes in 2007.

On the other hand, the amount of emission rate in Italy had about 4 tonnes and there was a sharp rise double to roughly 8 tonnes between 1967 and 2007 which meant that it was the second highest number in 2007. Besides, even though Portugal had the least co2 figure in 1967, with around 1 tonne, it climbed considerably from almost 1 to about 5 tonnes respectively in 2007 and this year Sweden rate and Portugal rate were the same.
