Essay topics:

The graph below shows the average number of UK commuters travelling each day by car, bus or train between 1970 and 2030.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The line chart compares the number of travelers using public transport such as car, bus, and train in the UK from 1970 to 2030.
Overall, the car is the most popular means of transport. Meanwhile, the train is predicted to replace the bus as the second most prevalent transportation.
In 1970, there were about 5 million people traveled by car. This was followed by bus with the figure of around 4 million commuters while the figure for the train was only 2 million individuals. After 40 years, the number of UK citizens using cars increased considerably, from 5 million to approximately 7 million, whereas the number of passengers using trains slightly rose to about 1 million. In contrast, the figure for bus users gradually decreased by 500,000 people.
It is predicted that in 2030, the number of people traveling by car will reach its peak with 9 million voyagers. Surprisingly, the bus will be replaced by train as the figure for it will drop to 3 million while the number of the replacement will be about 5 million.
