The given line graph illustrates how many people in the UK traveled each day by 3 different types of vehicles, including car, bus and train, from 1970 to 2030.
Overall, there is a decrease in the number of travelers in the examined country each day by bus, while the other 2 types of transport are getting more popular in here. In addition, the number of commuters using car as means of going over consistently has the greatest figures throughout the period.
The number of UK commuters traveling by car started at about 5 millions, after which it rose up sharply to approximately 7 millions in the year 2000. At the same time, the figures for people who used train to go over climbed up gradually, which were less than the number of ones using car by 3 millions and 4 millions people in the year 1970 and 2000 respectively. The number of people traveling by bus remained fairly stable at about 4 millions in the period.
The quantity of commuters in the UK using car and train increased sharply to over 7 millions and 4 millions respective in 2020, which are liable to proceed with the rise of people using these forms of transport. In contrast, the figures for those who choose bus to go over slightly declined from 2000 onward, which are predicted to reach the lowest number of users (at 3 millions) in the 3 types of vehicles in 2030.
