The bar graph provides information about the contribution of three sectors namely Agriculture, Manufacturing and Business and Financial services in the economy of the united kingdom in the 20th century, units are measured in proportions.
Overall, manufacturing sector showed consistent decline. Business and finance was least contributor in the UK but, became majority later whereas, the highest contributing sector was Agriculture, that depicted fluctuations throughout these years although, it was minor contributor in the end.
In 1900, it is clear that Agriculture and Manufacturing sectors was considerably high about 49% and 45% respectively whereas, business and financial sector was the minor(3%) contributor of the period. After first half of the century(1950), contribution of agriculture showed slight rise around 2%. In contrast, minimum decline in manyfacturing sector of the UK. Whilst, third sector gradually inclined upto 10%.
In comparison within quarter of 19th century to 2000, agriculture sector declined rapidly by almost eradicating in last year from 51% to 11% and 11% to 2% approximately. Although, it was least contributor than other two sectors, Manufacturing and Business and Financial was popular in respective years(around 35% and 39%) but, Business and finance kept on increasing from 20% to 37% till 2000.
