Write a report for a university lecturer describing the information shown below.
The line graph gives information about the amount of wheat exports from 1985 to 1990 in Australia, Canada and European Community. Overall, wheat exports in three areas remained unstable over the period, with Canada witnessed the most dramatic change.
In 1985, Canada exported almost 20 million tonnes of wheat, which is the highest of the three areas. This figure peaked at 25 million tonnes in 1988 but then dropped sharply to just under 15 million the next year. However it increased again and finally reached about 18 million tonnes in 1990.
Australia's wheat exports started with 15 million tonnes in 1985, which was about 2 million lower than European Community. This number began to rise by 1 million to reach 16 million the year after, whereas European Community fell to under 15 million tonnes. From then, wheat exports in Australia gradually decreased to roughly 12 million in 1990, while European Community's wheat exports grew and eventually passed 20 million tonnes in 1990.
