The given line graph gives information about how many percentage of 5 different activities that old
people in America expenditured on spare time from 1980 to 2010.
What stands out from the line graph is that while the theatre declined, others activities had an upward
trend. In addition, Hiking was the most steadily increased during the given period.
In 1980, starting at three fifths watching TV was the highest before it witnessed a slightly improve to
about two thirds in 2010. In contrast, after ranked second in 1980 with a half, theatre noticeably reduce
to around morethan two fifths at the end of the period. The rate of reading troubled after some rise and
fall between 1980 and 2010 with less than a third and three fifths respectively.
Besides, it was hiking that started from a fifth before experiencing a steadily surge to become the
highest in 2010, at four fifth. Surfing the internet was the lowest in 1980 with just roughly one in twenty.
However, the ratio of surfing internet which was saw a considerably soar to a half in 2010.
