The graph below shows the number of overseas visitors to three different areas in a European country between 1987 and 2007.

The line graph illustrates the number of travelers going overseas to some particular places from 1987 to 2007.

It is noticeable that there was an upward trend each in the coast and mountains. On the other hand, the remaining figure stabilized during the period.

In 1987, international visitors spending money to visit the coast, the mountains and the lakes in a European region respectively at 40 thousands, 20 thousands and a half of 20 thousands. Over the 15-year period, the coast figure grew by 20 thousands. Additionally, there was a rise of the lakes and reached a peak of more than 70 thousands. Unlike the 2 remaining figures, the lakes continued to remain relatively stable.

In 2002, the attracted guests increased slightly from 30 thousands to 35 thousands afterwards in 2007. On contrary, the coast witnessed a significant increase at 75 thousands; however, regarding the lakes trend, after reaching a peak of more than 70 thousands, the number of foreigners who were fascinated fell substantially at 40 thousands in 2007.
