It is clear that the number of tourists visiting the Caribbean island from 2010 to 2017 is on the rise. However, the number of people staying on the island is on a declining curve.
The total number of tourists between 2010 and 2017 increased from 1 million to 3.5 million. Also, visitors staying on cruise ships has increased from 0.25 million to 2 million. Although visitors staying on the island is increased, the amplification is the lowest, only from 0.75 to 1.5 million.
More details about this graph are that from 2015 to 2016, there was no increase or decrease in the number of visitors. Then, in 2011 and 2016, visitors stayed on cruise ships and staying on island is the same gab, nearly about 0.5 million people.
