The graph shows the quantity of university graduates in Canada from the year 1992 to the year 2007, divided by gender. At a glance, the number of graduates have increasead in both groups and the variations over tthe years are almost similiar.
On the One hand, the number of women that finished their studies in that period, increasesed from 100,000 in 1992 to 150,000 in 2007. However, in the period from 1992 to 2000 the female gradutes remained almost stable nearly 100,000 with a little peak of 105,000 in 1995. Althought thid trend in that period, in 2000 the number of graduates started a dramatically increaase and hited the hight point in 2006 with 150,000
On the other hand, the number of graduted men, had a similiar trend, started in 70,000 in 1992 and climbed to almost 80,000 in 1994, after that the number of graduates plumped to almost 70,000 again. Finally, after suffered some fluctuations until 2001, the number growed up to almost 100,000 graduates in 2007.
To conclude, both lines have similiar trend and made a big increase in 2001. However, in the complete period, the number of women increased almost a 50% and the number of men just almost a 40%.
