Overall, the increasing number of visitors were noticed in National, China, while the declining number in Edo-Tokyo. Moreover, the highest viewers deserves National, China and the lowest viewers seen in Edo-Tokyo.
In 2000, the most significant visitors (13 million) were reported in Edo-Tokyo, and this rate was highest in 2000. The figures for National stood half than that of MET. In the following year, there was a remarkable difference between the visitors of Edo-Tokyo and MET, New York, with the former stood first with 13 million and latter 6 million.
The visitors of MET and Edo in the year of 2003 were minor difference (7 and 6 million, respectively). However, while the former experienced a rapid increase about 5 million in the following year, latter just 1.8 million. The disparity between MET and Edo museum have 2 million in both years 2004 and 2005. National museum ranked first in last year and stood at 15.8 million.
