The change in part-time employers in four different countries of the UK from 1980 to 2010 is displayed by the bar chart, shown in percentage.
Overall, the highest rate of workers was on Wales. Meanwhile, most of the figure in all nations experienced an increase, but the exception was those in Northern Ireland.
Initially, there had been approximately 30% of people working part-time in Wales, followed by those in England at around a quarter. In addition, the proportion of part-timers in Northern Ireland had been lower than that of the rest nation, about 10% and 15%, respectively.
Eventually, the percentage of Wales part-time employers inclined slightly to about a third, and that of those in England also witness an upward trend to exceed 30%. Furthermore, ones in Scotland went up significantly, with more or less twofold. This contrasted to other countries, they in Scotland decreased to tenth, being the lowest figure.
