The graph below shows in percentage terms the changing patterns of domestic access to modern technology in homes in UK
The graph indicates to us about how domestic access of the modern technological elements in houses changed over the year from 1996 to 2003 in UK as percentage.
It is seemed clearly that all the tends of the elements were upward during the years. CD player usage was higher than others in 1996/97 and final years among three elements. At the start of the period, home computer was more common than mobile phone untill 99s, and following that internet access, which was least common in the last year, began in 1998/99.
As regards the first, CD player was used by 60% before going up gradually to around 80% in the last year. Likewise, approximately 20% usage of the mobile phone fluctuated increase to almost 60% as home computer increased steadily from nearly 25% to almost 58%. After around the 1998/99, mobile phone access was upper than home computer. Moreover, internet access, which became in 1998/99 after the others, rose gradually from roughly 10% to around 40% in 2002/03.
