The given line graph represents the change in population in thousands in Columbia, Ymahill and washington in the state of Oregon by country from 1940 to 2000.
Overall, there was an increase in the population in three different nations but the rapid increase was observed in washington.

It is clear from the graph that in 1940, there was 75000 people found in washington which rose moderately to just over 12000 in 1970. After that, the rate of population climbed dramatically to well over 240 in 2000.

In contrast, approximately same number of people lived in Yamhill and Columbia (30000) in 1940. In 1970, a slight difference in the number of people can be seen in the graph. At this time, 45000 people were living in Yamhill and around 32000 of them lived in Columbia. Then there was significant increase in the population of both countries from 1970 to 2000 that differs by 15000 respectively.
