The line graph below illustrates population number for India and China since the year 2000 and possibility of growing up in next 50 years. Number are measured in billions.
At the beginning of 20th century, India's population had the lowest point (1000 billions), but it is predicted, in 2050 the population will increase till 1600 billion, it is the reverse of century's start. During the showed period, population in India consistently increased.
China's population in 2000 is more different comparing population of India. It starts from approximately 1250 billion. Next 25 years it also has an increase, but it probably would stop achieving the number of 1400 billion in 2030. The source predicts that China's population will decrease after 2030, and will have approximately 1400 billion in 2050.
Overall, the lowest point on this line graph represent the population of India in 2000, and the highest point belong, also, to India in the future (probably 2050). The same number of population in India and China is predicted to be between 2030 and 2040, approximately 1440 billion of citizens.
