The line graph illustrates the population rates in India and China over 50 consecutive years from 2000 to 2050 measured in billions.
Overall, it can be seen that population in India increases dramatically over the given period while population in China grows for sometime and then the prediction for future is that the population will decline.
In 2000, population in India stood at 1000 at the same time China’s population accounted for approximately 1250. Then population in both countries rise steadily over the next 30 years, and it is forecasted that in 2030 year the population in both countries will be equal at about 1450, and it will be the highest number of population in China.
It is projected that there will be a slight decline in the population in China and in 2050 it will constitute 1400, while population in India will rise gradually to finish the period at about 1600.
