Essay topics:

The graph below shows the production levels of main fuels in a European country from 1981 to 2000. Measured in tonnes.

The line graph indicates the amount of 3 main energy sources produced by European continents over a 19-year period

Overall, there was an increase in the volumn of produced natural gas in 2000, up to 80 tonnes. On the contrary, European countries experienced a downward trend in the level of both petroleum and coal production at the same time

Petroleum originally had its highest level in 1981 at about 100 tonnes. Despite a stable period from 1984 to 1987, the figure fell sharply to 100 tonnes in 1989, and then began fluctuating in 1994 after being stable from 1988 to 1990. Meanwhile, the produced coal level experienced a sharp fall, from 80 to nearly 50 after stability over the first 3 years of the surveyed period . Despite a light rise from 50 to 70 tonnes, the figure has decreased considerably in the last 10 years.

It can be seen that the portion of natural gas remained stable, about 40 tonnes during the first 13 years before increasing and reaching 82 tonnes in 2000.
