The line graph illustrates waste recycling rates in the U.S between 1960 and 2011.The data calibrated in millions of tons.
Have a look on the total waste recovery material and percentage of recycling, in 1960, the amount of garbage was 5.6 of first one while, the second place was 1.2% higher rather than the former. Moreover, till 1985 both were showing significant rise with the difference of near around six million tons whereas, total waste recovery material which was exactly recorded 14.5 million tons in 1980.
By having a glance on the other years, inclination observed for the following 21 years. Garbage recovery material touched the peak point about 86.9 million tons however, 3% products recycling in every year and at last it reached on 34.7%.
Overall, the total waste had recovered in highest proportion as compare to the recycling of other things over the time period.
