Overall, the consumption of various beverages has some fluctuations in different ages. In all age groups most of the people tend not to drink any kinds of beverages. In comparison, the consumption of heavy drink are lower than other categories in 16-24, 55-64 and 65-74 ages. Moreover, people in 25 to 54 used to drink and the percentage of these groups are less than other types of beverages.
A more detail look at this bar chart reveals, people prefer no to have drink considerably more some special drinks in 16 to 64 age groups (utmost 60%, less than doubled). About 8% of people between 16 and 54 used to consume some drinks. More than 25 percent of people in 55-64 used to drink. The percentage of people who never drink and who drunk before are roughly the same (almost 45%).
The percent of the citizens in the USA in 16-24 to 25-34 and 35-44 to 45-54 in light drinker account for 25% and 20% respectively. People in 55 to 74 tend to light drinks and this percentage is slightly more than heavy drinks. In 4 different groups (16-24, 25-34, 55-64 and 65-74) roughly 5% of people are in heavy drinker category and the consumption of these kinds of drinks in 35-44 and 45-54 is approximately same (about 12%).
