This graph illustrates different number of children playing sport in an English town in the year 2012.
Firstly, the major difference according to gender difference was observed in football, as 60 boys played football while only 20 girls liked to play that game. On the other hand hockey was almost equally unliked by males and females as only 15 and 10 children played it respectively. In badminton and swimming, girls showed more interest than boys(girls:boys 50:40 in badminton and 40:30 was the ratio in swimming).
Again in cycling and tennis number of boys lead the girls as 35 boys showed interest in cycling as compared to 20 girls. While, 50 boys played tennis and the number of girls playing tennis was only 38.
Overall, boys showed more interest in 4 out of 6 games in contrast to girls who were more interested in swimming and badminton. Hockey was never liked much by the students.
