At the first glance, the percentage of men and women who were overweight had an enormous fluctuation. Especially, the men in Australian was higher than women per decade.
In the first period, the overweight men and women rates stood at 40 and 33% respectively. Meanwhile, the figure for formal considerably increased by 8% while with 11% of the woman in the 10 next years.
Regarding the proportion of men hit a free fall to roughly 60% in 2010, after undergoing a substantial growth to 65% in 2000. Additionally, in comparison with the percentage of women which remained unchanged between 2000 and 2010 at approximately 50%. Both men and women saw a noticeable turnaround in the last period.
