The bar charts illustrate the types of music in percentages and distributed in gender and ages in the UK.
Overall, there is difference taste of listening to music among two group of people: 16 to 25-year-olds and the olders. Moreover, male and female’s thought of spending money on music also vary.
To begin with, male account for nearly 30 percent in Rock and Pop music and 10 percent in Classical. On the other hand, women occupies far less compared to men’s figures with approximately 20 percent in rock and pop, 6 percent in classical music.
In terms of ages, the data display slightly different among the three bar charts. Specifically, people at 16 to 34 years old prefer listening to rock and pop music with 30 or 31 percent while for those who are older than 45, the percentage is under 10 percent. In contrast, with classical music, only 2 percent of the youth surveyed stated that they enjoy this kind of music, as opposed to elderly with 20 percent as shown.
