The bar graphs illustrate that the types of music in percentages and distributed in gender and age in the UK. Overall, people aged 45 and more preferred classic music the most, while aged 25 to 34 stood quite high in all music types.
To start, apart from gender or age, pop and rock indicate very similar trends. Male accounted for about 29 per cent, while female occupied around 10 per cent lower, at precisely 19% in pop and rock music. Aged 25 to 34 accounted for far the most volume of approximately 32% in both, followed by this, group of 16 to 24 and 35 to 44 stood at nearly 30% and 26%, respectively. People aged over 45 made up the smallest proportion of about 8% only.
Surprisingly, figures of classic music demonstrate quite differences. Purchasers aged over 45 occupied the largest fractions of an approximately fifth, followed by the group of 25 to 34 recorded at slightly higher than 15%. Remaining groups accounted for lower proportions than 10%, who had level of around 9%, 7%, 1% and 3%, for each.
Consequently, it can be seen that pop and rock had almost same trends, with unloved by people over 45, however, classical music was selected far the most by them.
