The picture illustrates how to make coffee from raw beans to packaged products. In overview, the process of producing coffee products consisted of twelve steps, involving either manual or mechanical methods.
Initially, coffee beans were sorted by hands in order to separate the good and the bad quality of raw materials. The chosen good quality of coffee beans was further cleaned with flowing clean water on a filter and dried under the sun within four weeks. During the drying process, the beans were raked and turned manually to distribute the heat of the sun over the whole surface of the beans. The dried coffee beans then were stored in a silo until sent to mill by a truck. Furthermore, the dried coffee beans were hulling and grading manually using a filtering tool to split the powder and the grain, and then the coffee powder was bagging into the sacking and ready to be sold. In another way, the coffee powder was processed further using a roasting machine and then packed, labeled, and sold in the market in order to raise the price of the products.
