The illustrations show how chocolate is produced

Essay topics:

The illustrations show how chocolate is produced.

The process diagram demonstrates the manufacture of chocolate by following a number of steps. Overall, there are various stages which the row pods go through in order to be turned into chocolate, beginning from the collection of ripe red pods and culminate in processing their inner part.
To begin with, the ride red pods are harvested from cocao trees that flourish in S.America, Africa and Indonesia. After that, the pods collected, are crashed in order to provide white cocao beans that are part of their inner shell. Following that, the beans are fermented and then they are spread into a large vessel which is exposed to sun to dry. In the subsequent stage, the dried pods are inserted into large sacks, which are transported by train or lorry to the factory. The next step is to roast the beans in specific temperature. The oven assists in this process. The beans are then put into a specific machine to go through the crushing process, where the outer shell is removed from the inner pods. Last of all, the inner part of the beans is pressed by large milestones, to produce liquid chocolate.
