The table illustrates the rate of women who is responsible for the management roles in different industries in European country in 2006.
Overall, the rate of management positions held by women in hospitality industry was much more higher than that in other jobs sector. Meanwhile, the Manufacturing contained the fewest proportion of management roles in the women workforce.
Looking at the table more closely, one can see that in Hospitality, the Managers stood as dominant among that in three remained industries, particularly at 33.14 percent in 2006. Followed by CEOs and Executives at 20.6 and 19.9 percent respectively. In contrast, the occupation which had the fewest percentage of high positions women workforce in this country was Manufacturing, it is evidence as Manager’s roles was 9 percent, made a huge gap between it and the other positions in the same industry which just stood at under 2 percent. There was a similar downtrend pattern in the proportion of management roles held by women in Finance and IT, which the managers responsibilities stood out as the highest rate. Interestingly, the rate of managers in Finance made a gap of approximate 16 percent with that in the CEOs positions, and quadrupled the rate of Executives which value was at 4.58 percent. Eventually, in IT industry, there was 6.58 percent of women who held the CEOs roles and 12.82 percent of its in Executive position.
