Information Table
The table illustrates the information about consumer spending on food, clothing or footwear and leisure, education in Ireland, Italy, Spain, Sweden and Turkey in 2002.
Firstly, in 2002, Turkey customers spend approximately 33% on food/drinks/tobacco which was highest among all country and second highest country was Ireland which was nearly 29%. While, respectively Spain, Italy and Sweden spent nearly 19%, 16% and 15% on food/drinking/tobacco.
Secondly, the expenditure was in between 6% to 7% in Ireland, Turkey and Spain on clothing/footwear whereas, 9% was spent by Italy consumer while, Sweden spent only 5.40% on this same category.
Furthermore, 4.35% spent on leisure/education in Turkey whereas, Italy, Sweden both spent nearly same percentage on this, which was nearly 3.20%. Moreover, very less percentage had been spent spent by Ireland and Spain which was in between 1% to 3%.
Overall, the expenditure was more for food/drinks/tobacco whereas, consumer had less focus on education/leisure.
