Internet users as percentage of population
The line graph depicts how many people connected to the Internet via percentage in three different countries over a given period of 10 years, commencing from 1999.
In general, there was an upward tendency in the figure of Internet users in each country over the given period. Additionally, a much larger percentage of Canadians and Americans had access to the Internet in comparison with Mexicans, and Canada witnessed the fastest growth in Internet usage.
Starting at 10% in 1999, the amount of Internet users in Canada was lower than that of the USA, approximately 20%. Thereafter, the former soared tenfold and surpassed the latter (nearly 70%) in the final year, with a marginal fluctuation in the middle of the period.
Mexico began at 5% in the initial year and increased by 25% at the end of the period in people accessed to the Internet. Although its gradual rise, the figure of Mexican users remained in last position during the mentioned period.
