The map below is of the town of Garlsdon. A new supermarket (S) is planned for the city. The map shows two possible sites for the supermarket.
The map illustrates two possible places for supermarkets establishment in the town of Garlsdon, home to a 65,000 population.
Overall, the first construction site will be located in the countryside and far from the town center yet more accessible to the Hindon population. Meanwhile, the second location is planned to be built downtown and more convenient to people in Bransdon and Cranston.
It can be seen that the first supermarket will be established in the outskirt area adjacent to the railway and the main road that connects people from Cransdon, downtown, and the industry. Although located far away from the downtown, the first supermarket has potential customers from Hindon with up to 10,000 people.
The second site will be developed in the city's center, surrounded by the housing and industry area. Even though the railway passes the site, it is still far from the main road. However, the location has three times more potential customers than the first one has, and they come from the neighboring areas of Bransdon and Cransdon.
