The maps below describe an area before and after the construction of a hydroelectric power plant.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
The map illustrates the changes in the landscape after the construction of a hydroelectric dam and a power plant.
Overall, the structure of the west-south region had a tremendous difference in the map after the power plant. However, the other end of the map has a new hotel building which replaces the old farmland in the first map.
Initially, the river rerouted to the development of a hydroelectric dam and a new lake was created for entertainment on the north side. The power plant is situated near the dam and three transmission towers are placed in the southwest area.
Importantly, the national park and historic castle have been completely removed from that area. Whereas, villages in the southeast region and the north forest and the mountains remained the same on both maps when compared.
