Overall, the town has most notably changed in road and in some facilities, which will be more arranged.

In the nowadays picture of Islip town, The facilities are divided into the north of the main road and the south of the main road. The countryside and a number of shops are placed in the north of the main road, while more urbanised facilities (shops, housing, park and school) are set up in south of the main road.

In the future picture, there has been a significantly renovation showed. The town will be surrounded dual carriageway road. Additionally, the main road will be replaced pedestrians that separate the north and the south buildings. In the north of the pedestrians, Bus station, shopping centre, car park and new housing will be built instead of shops from the north-west to the north east. The shops which are located in the south of the pedestrians are remained. In south of the shops, there will have added new housing near the old housing. However, the park, school and housing will be remain as they are.
