The maps below show the center of a small town called Islip as it is now, and plans for its development.

There are two maps which show the center of a small town, which called Islip, before and after the implementation.
There are two rows of shops in the town center now that these rows are departed by a main road. This road has a branch in the south-west that goes to a school and another branch in the south-east that goes to a park. Also, there are a countryside in the north of the map and two housing areas in the south of the map.
In following, in the new plan, the man road which goes between the shops will be changed to a pedestrian pavement and Islip town center is going to be surrounded by a dual carriageway. Furthermore, the shops which are situated in the north of main road will be destroyed and a bus station, a shopping center, a parking, and a new housing area will be constructed at this area. Additionaly, the park is going to be changed and it will be smaller. Further, the housing zone which is situated in the south of the shops will be relocated to the west and a new housing zone will be constructed beside the park while the housing area in the south and the school will be remained the same.
To sum up, according to the maps, Islip town center will be changed significantly after the development and it is going to have more residential parts instead of the past.
