Overall, it is noticeable that the center of the town will change dramatically. There will have more amenities and the construction of a dual carriageway is planned to upgrade.
currently, this town has a main road running from the West to the East, with two short lanes which one is down to a school and the other one is down to a park. Moreover, between the main road has two shops, and housing is located on the opposite of these shops; while further far from the North, it is the countryside.
However, in the future, the main road is replaced for the pedestrians only, with the circle covered all the Islip with a new dual carriageway. Furthermore, the erection of the bus station, shopping center, car park, and a new residential area replacing the Northern's shops; while the other shops will remain intact. The school will keep staying outside the circle; meanwhile, the park will be relocated inside the pedestrian area.
