The diagrams illustrate the development that occurred in Youngsville, New Zealand from 1980 to 2005.
It is clear from the pictures that the biggest change that happened to the town was the infrastructure. Additionally, there were plenty of trees being chopped down by 2005.
In 1980, the town was covered with trees along with many individual houses and had a lot of changes over the next 25 years. To the south of the Alanan River, the forest has been cleared to create an industrial zone with warehouses and factories surrounding the school and the airport. With that, small houses were replaced by skyscrapers in the southeast along the railway station line.
North of the Alanan River, most of the trees were cut down and there were only a few trees left around the hospital in 2005. A large number of trees cut down gave way to parks, golf courses and parking lots. Previously, there were residential areas in the northeast but later they were demolished and stadiums built. In the same year, near the train station appeared a marina.
