The maps below show the changes in a town after the construction of a hydroelectric power dam.
The diagrams illustrate how a town's structure changed between 1990 and 2010 when a nearby hydroelectric power dam was constructed.
Overall, it is obvious that the town underwent a number of dramatic changes, the most significant of which are the disappearance of rare plants and animals, and a lake was dug in 2010 in order to cater to the manufacture of the dam.
In 1990, there was a long site with a forest, an ancient structure, and rare plants and animals in the western corner of the river. However, they were all destroyed to make way for the power poles in 2010. On the opposite side of the river, the villages were relocated closer to the river bank, south of the irrigated farmlands being converted into electricity pylons in 2010.
The north part of the town also witnessed a significant change. A hydroelectric power dam was built at the northern headwaters of the river in 2010, situated between two mountains. On top of the dam, there was a huge lake for sailing and fishing that did not exist until the year 2010, accompanied by the erection of a new hotel on the southeast of the lake.
