The maps below show the changes in a town after the construction of a hydroelectric power dam
The pictures illustrate a number of significant changes which took place in a town after the construction of a hydroelectric power dam.
From the maps, it is clear that the most noticeable changes occurred in the town was of a huge lake. Additionally, by 2010, the forests had been entirely leased.
In 1990, there was an ancient structure with rare plants and animals to the west, and irrigated farmlands. However, with the construction of a reservoir, those features were explored beneath a large lake which became a lake in 2010.
Looking at the map in more detail, the town looked completely different. The river was interrupted and electricity was constructed. A hotel was constructed towards the right of the lake, and the village was relocated towards the extreme south of the river bank.
