The map describes the development of the town of Harborne from almost a rural area into an urban city from 1936 to 2007.
In 1936, the town was just like a rural area and had few buildings. In the center of the town, there were two parallel curbs which include the post office the candy shop and the butchers in the top curb, and in the bottom curb, there include the flower shop, a bank and the library. In the northwest of the town, there were three trees grown there, and in the northeast, there was a river. Furthermore, there was a road for cycling, the government offices of the town and a piece of beautiful farmland in the south of the town.
In 2007, there has been a significant change in this town. After 71 years, there had been a residential surrounding the river and the government offices and farmland had changed into a museum and golf course. Furthermore, the centre of the town had supermarket and shopping centre which changed from the candy shop, butchers and the vacant lot. Two trees had been chopped and the road for cycling had changed into a curved road.
