The bar chart illustrates the number of men and women enrolled in four different evening courses at an adult education institution in the year 2009, while the pie chart displays the proportion of different age groups.

Overall, it is witnessed that number of females joined in various courses were high except in the sculpture course. On the other hand, it can be seen that the proportion of the elderly group was the highest as compared to the proportion of the young group.

To commence with, the number of females who took admission in Drama was 20 which was double than the number of males in the same class. In Painting course, both the genders showed more interest, 25 were females and 30 were males. However, Sculpture course was failed to attract the aspirants. 20 females in comparison with 10 males. On the other hand, Language course attracted the highest females. The number was 40 which was double than males.

Looking towards pie chart, 42% of people who belong to the age group of 50 or over, showed the highest interest in enrolling different evening courses. Whereas, the percentage of registrations of the age group under 20 was at 5%, which was the least.
