The number of tourists visiting Malaysia and Dubai from 1995 to 2003 is presented below.

A comparison of tourists who went to Malaysia and Dubai between 1995 and 2003, during 8 years is presented in the line chart.

In 1995, the number of visitors in Malaysia was the highest proportion with 100 thousand, while only around 54 thousand people went to Dubai. However both of these countries showed a dramatic increase to 200 thousand tourists for Malaysia and 170 thousand for Dubai in 1998, but this showed a slight decline by 20 thousand, while the ones of those in Malaysia showed reserve in the first five years.

By 2003, the total of visitors in those two countries had reached a new peak in 2001 with 350 thousand, but there was a significant fell in Malaysia’s visitors with 250 thousand people. However, 2003 saw a sharp rise in the proportion of tourists in Dubai with 400 thousand, and this was the biggest proportion during this period.

Overall, both of those countries increased sharply, but the total of visitors in Malaysia declined slightly. However, Dubai was the popular destination toward this period.
